Household Hazardous Waste Day is set for Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Cajun Field! City of Lafayette and unincorporated Lafayette Parish residents can safely dispose of unwanted household chemicals, electronics, and glass that can’t be placed curbside. Accepted items include: paints, pesticides, pool chemicals, gasoline, computer equipment, phones, printers, gaming consoles, and rinsed food/beverage glass containers. Items NOT accepted include: appliances, TVs, office copiers, auto batteries, motor oil, medicines, and more. Find the full list of accepted and non-accepted items at lafayettela.gov/hhwd
