Address: Trinity CME Church, 604 Lee Avenue, Lafayette, LA Time: 9:00 a.m. Phase one of this trail highlights the rich African American heritage of Lafayette through thoughtfully-designed signage and interactive elements at seven, local sites. The project was made possible by the dedicated efforts of community members who participated in workshops, meetings, and brainstorming sessions, providing invaluable input throughout the design process. LCG invites all community members, stakeholders, and history enthusiasts to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony and explore this new cultural asset. |
