Season Starts June 2!

The 2025 swim season kicks off Monday, June 2, and we’re excited to reopen the Girard Park Pool for the first time since the pandemic. Join us for a fun and active summer at your local pools!

NOTE: Public swimming pool hours are subject to change based on staffing availability and weather conditions. Please check with PARC staff for updates before your visit.

Martin Luther King Pool

• Opens: June 2
• Hours: Mon–Thurs, 2–6 PM
• Closes: August 7
• Address: 309 Cora St.
• Admission: free for children under 4 years old, $4 for ages 5-17, and $6 for ages 18+

Girard Park Pool

• Opens: June 9
• Hours: Mon–Thurs, 2–6 PM
• Closes: August 7
• Address: 500 Girard Park Dr.
• Admission: free for children under 4 years old, $4 for ages 5-17, and $6 for ages 18+
• Note: Opening date may shift depending on final repairs and safety checks.

Earl J. Chris Pool (Robicheaux Center)

• Address: 1919 Eraste Landry Rd.
• Operated by COLA (Champions of Lafayette Aquatics)
• Public swim + lessons available
