ATHLETICS

The Athletics division of Lafayette Parks and Recreation Department provides recreational activities for Youth ages 5-17 and Adults 18 and above. Its mission is to meet physical and social needs of the citizens of Acadiana.

Lafayette PARC Youth Basketball Registration Now Open

Registration is now open for the Lafayette PARC Youth Basketball program for all participants between the ages of 5-16.

Age Groups: 

• 6U Coed
• 8U (Boys and Girls Groups)
• 10U (Boys and Girls Groups)
• 12U (Boys and Girls Groups)
• 14U (Boys and Girls Groups)
• 16U (Boys and Girls Groups)

The upcoming season is slated to begin on January 10, 2025 and end on March 14, 2025. Dates are subject to change. 

Games will be held at the following locations: 

• Robicheaux Recreation Center
• Dupuis Recreation Center
• Thomas Recreation Center
• Comeaux Recreation Center
• King Recreation Center
• Thomas Recreation Center
• Domingue Recreation Center

Registration will be operated by the Scott Area Team Sports (SATS), Carencro Area Youth Sports (CAYSI), Southwest Athletics (SWA), Cajun Sports Association (CSA), and Brown Park Athletics (BPA) associations.  Registration fees will be used to assist with all basketball related needs, including uniform jerseys. Participants may find more information and register with either association using the information below. 

Scott Area Team Sports (SATS)
