Traffic is broken into three divisions: Traffic Signs & Markings, Traffic Signal Maintenance and Traffic Engineering. All three are essential ensuring that Lafayette drivers and pedestrians are able to get around Lafayette safely.

  • Other devices used to regulate, warn, or guide traffic.

• The installation and maintenance of traffic control devices such as:
  • signal heads
  • displays
  • vehicle detection
  • school zone flashers

• Lane/road closure for construction permit application (4a)
• Road Closure for event permit application (4b)
• Traffic calming policies & procedures (4c)
