ROAD CLOSURE: E. PONT DES MOUTON ROAD BETWEEN LOUISIANA AVENUE AND SHADOW BLUFF DRIVE

Lafayette, LA –Beginning Monday, March 24, 2025, East Pont des Mouton Road will be closed between Louisiana Avenue and Shadow Bluff Drive to allow for utility infrastructure construction as part of the Buc-ee’s development. The closure is expected to remain in effect through April 7, 2025.

Local access will be maintained for residents on the north side of East Pont des Mouton Road.

Motorists are encouraged to follow the designated detour routes:

• Louisiana Avenue
• Shadow Bluff Drive

Drivers should exercise caution, expect delays, and plan travel routes accordingly.
