ALTERNATING LANE CLOSURES SCHEDULED FOR ROADWAY REPAIRS

Lafayette, LA –Lafayette Consolidated Government’s Traffic, Roads, and Bridges Department announces upcoming alternating lane closures to accommodate concrete roadway repairs. The closures will impact the following areas:

• E. Pont Des Mouton Road between Moss Street and Louisiana Avenue
• Louisiana Avenue between Oak Coulee Drive and E. Pont Des Mouton Road
  

Work is scheduled to begin Wednesday, December 4, 2024, and continue through Monday, December 23, 2024. Lane closures will alternate in each direction of travel to minimize disruption while ensuring public and worker safety.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution when traveling through the work zones and to plan for potential delays. Please adhere to posted signage and traffic control measures.
