National Day of Prayer

Lafayette Mayor-President Monique B. Boulet invites the community for a special observance of the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at St. John’s Cathedral. The event will provide an opportunity for individuals from all backgrounds and faiths to unite in prayer, reflection, and fellowship.

YOUTH TRACK & FIELD REGISTRATION

Lafayette Consolidated Government’s Parks, Arts, Recreation, and Culture (PARC) Department is now accepting registrations for the 2025 Youth Track & Field season. Registration is open from April 7 through April 24, 2025.

Summer 2025: Camp Ignite

The ultimate summer adventure starts with Lafayette Parks, Arts, Recreation, & Culture (PARC)—Camp Ignite 2025 is open for registration! This summer camp will take place June 9 - July 18 (closed June 30-July 4). Space limited to first 100 campers.

Youth Advisory Council

Mayor-President Monique B. Boulet is inviting high school students across Lafayette Parish to apply for the 2025-2026 Mayor-President’s Youth Advisory Council (YAC). Applications will be accepted from April 16 through June 16, 2025.
