Press conference and free youth clinic to kick off announcement

Lafayette, LA – The New Orleans Pelicans will hold a free clinic for kids on Wednesday, October 12, no registration required. Kids will learn from Pelicans officials and members of the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns Women’s Basketball team.

The clinic will follow a press conference, hosted by Pelicans officials and the Lafayette Parks, Arts, Recreation, and Culture Department (PARC), announcing a new PARC youth basketball league recently launched by the National Basketball Association (NBA) and Women’s National Basketball Association’s. More details to follow at the press conference.

Clinic

5:30-6:30 p.m., also at Dupuis Recreation Center.

Parents or guardians must sign a waiver prior to the clinic.
