DRAINAGE REPAIRS WILL CLOSE BRIDGE ON OLE COLONY ROAD

No thru traffic but drivers on either side of the bridge will continue to have access 

Lafayette, LA –Ole Colony Road will close at the bridge on Monday, September 12 to improve drainage in the area. There will be no thru traffic during construction. Drivers west of the bridge will use Westgate Road, and drivers east of the bridge will use Ambassador Caffery Parkway. 

Improvements include installing storm drain pipes and converting open ditch drains to subsurface drains. Work is expected to be complete in approximately two weeks, weather permitting.
